About Jill Mercer

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, a city rich with spirit, history, and storytelling, and it is where I live today. I share my life with my wonderful husband, Joey, and our seven beautiful children. Family, connection, and love are at the center of everything I do and deeply influence the way I approach my work.

For as long as I can remember, I have experienced strong intuition and spiritual awareness. My natural abilities include clairsentience (feeling spirit energy), clairaudience (hearing intuitive guidance), and clear cognitive knowing. These sensitivities have guided me throughout my life and in the way I connect with people and their stories.

Although these gifts have always been present, two years ago I began intentionally training and studying mediumship in order to deepen my abilities and offer readings in a grounded and sacred way. I have taken Mediumship Classes One and Two with Suzanne Giesemann, Sid Patrick, and The Shift Network, and I have also mentored with Sid Patrick for one year to further develop my work in spirit communication.

In addition, I had the honor of serving on the faculty of the Touching Eternity Cruise, led by Sid Patrick, where I assisted in teaching and supporting others who are exploring their own connection with spirit.

I believe that every person has angels and specific guardians who walk beside them as they move through what I often call “earth school.” Even in life’s most difficult moments, we are never truly alone.

During a reading, my intention is to create a safe and sacred space where messages from loved ones in spirit can bring comfort, understanding, and connection. My hope is to bring joy, healing, and peace to every person who sits with me.

I truly love people and the stories they carry. I believe love’s lessons are woven into each of our lives, and when we begin to see the guidance that has always been around us, we can move forward with greater purpose, compassion, and light.
